Hi guys, i am currently using BATC (MSFS 2024 - Stable version) but i am having the problem, that when i want to change to a saved view with ALT + Number (in my case, ALT+2) i end up tuning the ATIS frecuency. There is no such mapping when i check the Keyboard binding in the settings. What is causing this? specially how can i prevent this happening?
Many thanks!
I think, this is because you haven’t configured MSFS 2024 correctly for BATC. (Getting started - BeyondATC Help Center)
PS: I would recommend asking such questions in the Discord support channel (Discord)

Hi, thanks for your feedback. I just checked and the settings are according to the BATC recommendations, i remembered settings this correctly some time ago… so i guess this is not causing the problem
have you checked the bindings within BATC?
I have the BATC window as ‘always on top’, and Im often having the issue that the BATC window has (keyboard) focus, when I thought Id switched it back to the sim.
note: I would just not have BATC window visible, so avoiding the issue - I need it BATC has gone silent due to the (not infrequent) ‘generating speech’ issue.
thanks for your feedback, i just checked my BATC settings are there is currently no key bindigs at all. As i use the Auto tune radio setting i just let the automatics run the communication. When i leave BATC alway no top, i can see when i change a view (alt +2) it changes the frequency… so there is a binding but i am not sure where is this coming from…
Sorry, I think I completely misunderstood your problem. So my answer or tip wasn’t very helpful.

Are you sure that Microsoft online text to speech hasn’t gone offline? I just posted a topic whereby ATIS is tuned automatically after I get a message in the sim that MS online ATC speech is offline and that the local system text to speech function will be used. At that point, ATIS gets tuned. Sounds very similar to your topic so figured I’d post this in the event they’re related. Are you able to reproduce this behaviour at will? If not, perhaps its what I said.

Thanks! I need to Double Check this next time I am going in the Sim!
Did you/anyone solve this?
I’m having the exact same issues in MSFS2020.
BATC seems to have undocumented key bindings to some of the Alt keys that don’t seem adjustable or even visible. It only seems to have become an issue since I installed Chaseplane.
Hi there, in MSFS 2024 its been a while i dont see the issue anymore, looks currently to be solved but cannot say 100%…
