Beech G36. How do I turn off or dim the cockpit lighting at night?

I did my first night flight in the Bonanza last night and could not figure out how to dim or turn off the interior lighting. I’m not talking about the G1000, the flood lights from the dash, or the overhead dome lights. There is another light that lights up the whole cockpit. I tried binding a key to toggle interior lights and that just turned the dome lights on and off. How do I control this other light?

I haven’t tried this plane yet, but the lighting is thoroughly borked up in almost every one I have flown so far, and I’ve seen posts here about many others.

There’s likely nothing you can do until Asobo fixes it.

yeah i’ve noticed this too, it completely throws off how night flights feel. it’s similar to the lighting from the overhead dome lights being on in most planes, except those are already off

heres an image. all electronics are off, no flashlight, this is cold and dark in the middle of nowhere—it should be pitch black right now but its as if theres dome lights or something illuminating everything. ruins night flying for me

vs c172, way darker even with panel illuminated

I’m surprised there are not more people complaining about this, makes me wonder if there is something obvious that we are missing to turn it off.

the new arantissim g36 mod fixed this in an update today, quite easily too as it was just requested a day or two ago. but the mod is not on flightsim.to so kinda sketchy
