Beechcraft King Air 350i - Direct to option missing in flight plan options

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

The ‘Direct to’ waypoint/airport option is missing from the flight plan section. So there is no way to do a ‘direct-to’ any waypoint if ATC provides one of if I want to go direct to a waypoint or airport.

See picture attached.

This issue is not there in other aircraft using the Garmin systems. The issue is also not there in MSFS 2020 for this same aircraft.

Also the button for Direct To is there in the panel below the throttle levers but is inoperative.

Yes.

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Everytime.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start with any free flight with the Beechcraft King Air 350i from any airport
  2. Try doing a direct to and option is not there.
  3. Alternatively - load a flight plan and then try go direct to any waypoint you wish - you will see the option is missing.

Not only this. It does not follow approach landing procedure altought it has one on the tablet flight plan, on the MFP it only points to the middle of the airfield.

Platform: PS5 Pro, Aviator Edition.

G3X by itself cannot fly approaches, that reflects real world standalone capabilities. It’s simply a point-to-point navigator. Needs a GTN or GNS coupled to it for Instrument Flight Procedures. If you check the third party planes that have a G3X and are IFR rated, they’re usually paired with a GTN750.

ok thanks, good to know. My work around was to use heading mode instead and follow the path from my tablet, then was able to use APR button once lined up with the runway.
