I would guess this is the same problem I have with the propeller on several aircraft. The shadow of the propeller is unrealistically sharp, and if the sun is in a certain position this will produce annoying and again unrealistic flashing effects.

It was not like this in FS2020, but seems to be a new ”upgraded” rotor simulation in FS2024. If Asobo are intent on keeping this new “feature” in the sim, they could at least give us the option of switching to the legacy version.

I’m concerned that this should be considered a HEALTH RISK for anyone susceptible to flashing lights.

I voted on the a while ago as I’d noticed the issue. Yesterday I was flying the 407 on a sunny day with the sun on the instrument panel and this really exacerbated the issue. It’s a very strong stroboscopic effect as each blade casts a shadow across the instrument panel.

I think this is most definitely a health risk. The stroboscopic effect is very strong in sunlight.
