BENDIX/KING Kap 140 Problem

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue I’m having with the KAP140 as fitted to the Dehavilland Beaver/ Cessna 207.
When turning the outer dial to set an altitude, rather than going up in 1000’s it is going up in single digits which is highly irritating, and once its started doing this I can’t figure out what I’ve done to cause it, or how to set it back to 1000’s.
This has happened to me in the Beaver and the Cessna, and the worst bit is, it doesn’t reset between flights so I seem to be stuck with it now.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

No, I haven’t seen that yet. I’ve flown the 207 somewhat regularly and I have always seen 1000 ft increments with the outer dial.
