Hi all,
As this is my first time flying this awesome bird without the aid of the AFE, I am in big trouble.
I’m at cruise without my CDI needles operating.
I’m practically blind. The DME does work fortunately. At least thats something.
Question is, could I’ve missed something during my preflight check?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Well, if yer on about the old radio’s, it was mentioned before in one of the tutorials… only the new ones work, as the old ones were not really operating anymore…

I’ll dive in to it.
Weird thing is. Those instruments worked like a charm before. But that was with the AFE.
As I got closer to my destination another odd thing happened.
All of a sudden the needles began to spin pointing me to the localizer I dialed in.
Hmmmm.
