Brief description of the issue:

All the approaches into Berlin Brandenburg airport are missing, even when you select low or high altitude in flight planner.

In flight planner, plan a flight into Berlin Brandenburg. Select low or high altitude and choose an ILS approach. It’s not on the drop down menu options.

doesn’t work with old runways and the new ones. LittleNavMap also doesn’t show any aproach. (For EDDS it at least showed them, but they weren’t available in MSFS)

They are still missing. Please can this be resolved as this is getting ridiculous!

I had this in msfs 2024. But then I realized, the ATC took EDDB as Schonefeld due to two things: The ILS frequency was wrong when I started the approach and 2nd: I remember when filing the IFR, it was requested with Schonefeld destination, which doesn’t exist anymore, so it made a big mess during approach. In the end it just entered a loop asking me to climb higher and higher.

unfortunately still no correct runway designation at BER (EDDB). MSFS2020, Ver.1.38.2.0,

Aerosoft / Limesim, EDDB (BER) Ver. 2.3.1.

The runway designations at BER have been changed for almost a year now (03.10.2024).
Ok, you can work with a mod, but then you only have VISUALS. the same in EDDK and EDDS for me.
Can someone please tell us when the next NavUpdate (AIRAC Cycle) will be? :thinking: Thank you.

As SU16 is now released, the latest MSFS2020 version is 1.39.9.0. With this version, the procedures for all runways are now included with the sim, but they still won’t be available unless the active scenery has the correct runways (vs. before SU16 you would still get no procedures even with corrected runways). That brings MSFS2020 up to parity with MSFS2024 in this regard. The relevant changelog item:

Improved handling of navdata for runways that do not exist in the sim. The resolution is now only done after all scenery layers are loaded, and only transitions will be removed rather than full procedures where possible.

That is not so relevant for you though, because in further good news with SU16, EDDB and EDDK runways have been updated and so they have all procedures available. If you update the world update EDDS to the latest version in your content manager that will begin to have procedures as well.

For me it seems to be resolved.
If you use the free “TheRedFox” scenery for EDDB, you need also the fix for the runway identifiers. If you have all this, it also works with free scenery :+1:
