I have a bunch of the Geardown and RM studios airports in Brazil. They are generally very small airfields with a couple of buildings modelled externally only. They are probably about average compared to freeware fields on fs.to, but of course the xbox doesn’t have any freeware options.
If you want to do GA around the area they are OK, they are on permanent sale and cheaper than a coffee, sometimes you can get 2 for the price of one cup, so I think the value is fair. One advantage is they aren’t going to stress out the xbox.
SBCY is probably the one I use the most, as I mostly fly the A320 these days and this is big enough. This one looks quite OK for a budget airport and has dozens of buildings modelled.
I mainly fly there to/from SLAL which is by Sierrasim and is a pretty simple airport very averagely modelled and probably a bit overpriced. However, MSFS doesn’t otherwise have this airport at all, so if you want to fly there at all you have to buy it. It’s at 10,000 ft and the circling ILS approach from the south is quite spectacular, it’s fantastic for airliners. As a result I’ve got my moneys worth. And of course, it didn’t stress the xbox when I used one.
