I am thinking about buying new gasket for G2. I assume that it would little improve FOV and sweet spot. Not so much but little bit. Is it worth to buy?

I bought the VRCover and am quite happy with it.
Most of those use the same model anyway, I have one like that. They are good, just make sure you use a very thin cushion otherwise you u do any benefit you gained
So do i need to buy cushion stuff beside that gasket? Cushion not included?
Depends on who you buy it from. Sometimes included, sometimes not. I bought one on Ebay that included one.
Hey man. Could you please advise…the Etsy.com one has two options. A standard 11mm and a 6mm. I can’t find any conclusive info on what would be a better option?
I think it is for people wearing glasses or not accord to another model I have, the ideal would be to have both.
Surely the 6mm gets you the closest is the goal. Let me know what you decide on. Looking at these myself.
I contacted the seller and he says the fov increase is the same with 11 and 6, that it’s just a matter of comfort. So i got my g2 yesterday and since it does seem a bit tight i went and ordered the 6mm one. 
Hmm one should always go for as thin as possible as long as it’s not too uncomfortable. So looks like you made the right choice!
Not sure how dude can say it makes no difference, the closer your eyes are to the screen, the better the FOV will be!
Just a quick update. I received my custom gasket with the 6mm pad today. I couldn’t be more dissatisfied. I don’t understand how people can positively review these things. I have a feeling most of them have gigantic heads or something. The comfort is straight horrible compared to the original g2 pad. And yes, you do gain the stupid FOV, personally maybe 10%, not much more. But it’s totally not worth it. Not to mention you can see the sides of the headset which is just terribly immersion-breaking. To be fair, i seem to be among a few rare ones that have this kind of experience but i have never been more disapointed. Perhaps i was expecting too much. Also, i can’t compare this product with others. If i could order again i’d probably go with the VR-cover solution. I personally bought this:

Ah that sucks, sorry to hear that. I find the stock gasket very comfy too. I’ve tried it with no gasket at all and while obviously painful on the nose I love how much more you can see.
Are you going to return it? I imagine shipping isn’t worth it. I guess I’ll hold out and hope my next headset has a wider fov stock.
No idea. I don’t think i can return to seller if there’s nothing wrong with the product. If you want i’ll resell it to you at discount

I have this since a lot of months and are great for me, more comfy, clearly a bit less heat, both pads in thickness, more hygienic because does not absorb and maintain your face grease. I have cleaned the stock G2 pad gasket every day after their use, and always had marks of grease in the place where I put them, desk or drawer, and I had to clean that places every day at same time that the original G2 gasket so in the rest of the face pad that touch the face skin is the same or worst sure and un cleanable with normal alcoholic wipes, a good surprise un waited in this too without knowledge of that advantage too.

The FOV gain that you can expect is easy to watch, only press against the face a bit the original G2 gasket, yes, a bit more.

Can’t say I can see the side of the headset either, maybe this part is really down to the exact padding used and head shape. The main thing for me was: with the original gasket I felt like I was looking through binoculars, and the custom gasket reduced this effect by a whole lot, to the extent where it’s almost entirely gone.
