Hello,
What is the best non-live Traffic Injector for 2020 for use with FSLTL and AIG models? I’ve used the FSLTL injector for quite some time and often fly in Asia where there is a 12 hour time difference. I like to set the in-sim time of day to something similar to Eastern Standard Time and am looking for more accurate traffic to match the time of day. I’ve also had some trouble lately with FSLTL causing CTDs around China, so am looking for alternatives.
I’ve been trying AIG’s injector but can’t make it work - gets stuck on the loading screen. I’ve followed all the instructions to the letter and no luck. I’ve also fooled with the default 2020 AI Offline injector and find it woefully inaccurate. Things like an Aer Lingus turboprop at UAAA Almaty - no thanks.
How about BATC? Or are there any mods that improve the default AI Offline injector?
Thanks!
I would probably say BeyondATC is the best which uses those models.
It goes off real schedules, but not real time.
It is paid software but you also get an amazing ATC system and voices.
Additionally, the aircraft injected by BATC also communicate with ATC and follow all ATC instructions just as any real aircraft would.
The problem with the BATC is their pricing model. Too complicated and seems to be pretty expensive as well.
If you have already trouble with FSLTL I wouldn’t go for BATC or anything else. For me BATC is the most terrible addon of the 450 I bought so far for MSFS 2020. It only works with a flight plan, not without. Lot of promisses for updates but I haven’t seen any in a years time which are desperately needed. I’m talking about the traffic part, ATC is just like the one of MSFS.
Thanks all. How does BATC compare in stability and performance? Has anyone had luck or good experiences with the AIG injector? I love the AIG models, but the software is painful to use.
I find BATC to be very stable and performant. It can use any or all of FSLTL, AIG or FSTraffic models, and you can prioritize the model matching order. If you use AIG and FSLTL but you prefer it matches AIG first, then FSLTL you can control this. In addition, you can also enable matching GA aircraft using MSFS2024 GA models if you want.
BATC also allows you to control the density of parked, departures, arrivals and enroute traffic separately.
Last week, when flying with BATC and after asking for departure clearance, it was very realistic to be told to hold at the runway where I would be taking off and realize I was really waiting for an approaching aclose to real time traffic of MSFS itself.ircraft to land. Once the plane was clear of the runway, ATC cleared me for departure. IMO, that beats other traffic injectors for realistic flight simulation when used with FSLTL and AIG models.
At times, I like the close-to-real-time traffic of MSFS itself or the volume of traffic with FSLTL.
I actually find the pricing model for BATC one of the best. It is a hybrid. You buy the product at a certain price and try out the premium voices. If you enjoy the premium voices, you can buy additional tokens and use them up. It is pay as per your usage. If you don’t want to spend the extra money on the premium voices - you can always stick to the base voices and use all other features of BATC without any restriction.
Some interesting points mentioned here. I’ve been interested in BATC for a while for the injector and for the ATC with the regional accents. If those features are high quality, it seems like it would be good value. And we’ll see how development continues.
Thanks All
