Hello, I have an GTX 1650 Super, and I can play MSFS2020 on medium graphics just fine. However, the same can not be said for MSFS2024. On very low settings with everything turned to the minimum, and FSR 2 set to “performance” as “ultra performance” is unplayable and too blurry, The 787-10 is completely unplayable, and the 737 MAX 8 is just really bad most of the time.
My request is for a 787-10 that is not a stuttery mess on low-end and old cards, and also for a 737 MAX 8 that is also not a stuttery mess on low-end and old cards

With all due respect, you’re on an extremely old GPU. Not sure it’s even possible to ‘downgrade’ the sim any further than they already have.

6 years old is a long time in technology. If you want a good experience in this sim, you will want a better GPU and CPU.

Even when it was new it was a mid-range card and it was 6 years ago. Let’s be rational here. This game can’t run properly on 4090 without DLSS and Frame generation.

You’re gonna have to upgrade dude. I’m sorry but even myself who has a GTX 1660 Super, asking for better performance is a bit too much.
According to the December 2024 Steam hardware survey, more people are running 1650 Supers than Radeon RX 6900 XTs, 2080Tis, and RX 6800 XTs.
It ranks just behind the RX 7900 XTX, and the 1080Ti that is probably the best GPU ever made.
Lots of people are using the 1650 Super, and even more are using the regular 1650. It’s the 4th most used card in the survey because GPU prices are out of control, and the 5090 is going to push prices so high you could build an entire PC for the same price.
I’d argue that optimizing for the mid market cards is MUCH more important than aiming for the higher performing cards.
i know, its crazy, i built an entire pc with an rx 6750xt, a pretty decent card (sadly i broke my system and am forced to not use amd cards), for 2000 CAD (thats around 1400 USD), that was with the black friday deal because i refuse to build pcs or buy any pc components outside of black friday. But its way, way cheaper than than the rtx 5090, or even maybe the 5080 as its likely to cost way more than MSRP
