I am having a 4060 ti and I’ve tried everything to get the best out of it…
I tried dx12 with dlss and frame generation and I had good performance (almost everything on ultra and 2k ) My fps were ranging from 70-100. But I had an issue with Vram (8gb version) on 3rd party airports and stutters all around.
I then tried dx11 with the same settings and my fps locked at 30fps…Vram was ok but some stutters again…less than before
With 4k the performance is very stable and almost no stutters at all.
I am very happy with this… but how can this be?
Moving to 4K resolution may seem counterintuitive, but it can help at times… At higher resolutions, the workload shifts more towards the GPU, reducing the CPU bottlenecks and mitigating stutters caused by CPU limitations. This might be the case with your system and the 4060 card.

I quess this is the case because my cpu is quite old…i5 8400
Comparing the GPU usage ( % ) between the two resolutions might also give you an indication about what’s going on.
When you’re in a demanding region (e.g. NYC) and the GPU is not running at 100%, you know your CPU is bottlenecking it. FS2020 eats CPUs for breakfast
