I’ve been flying in Canada/USA.
I’ll try a European flight to see if I get ILS.

Mistake must on your side, just made a similar flight and first transit the EGPF zone after that join it for landing and get a landing slot after two airlines landed.
Was a great never seen before experience, way better than default msfs ATC.
Money was good spend on this tool.
Wait for VFR stage three, VFR traffic will be the game changer for me.
Current state is great and I just start using and understanding it.
PS: Getting experience was the reason why I hichecked your flightplan.
I’m not a pro and don’t know much about the subject.
Only the experience from BATC.
In the states I usually get vectors to visual approach. From my understanding the pilot then decides to go manual and visual or to go on final by ILS approach.
In europe i always get ILS or RNAV/VNAV approches assigned by BATC.
Yes,that’s my understanding and experience as regards N America, so far. Will try Europe.
In the USA visual approaches are very common, probably outnumbering ILS approaches by a wide margin when weather permits. They want us sitting on top of each other ;-D
I just updated the in game vr panel. Some issues. 1) why is so hard to find the download on the batc website. Google found it for me in the end. 2) The fonts are much smaller which is a pain for us failng eye sight oldies. 3) The very useful atis tab at the top has gone. Tuned in the atis freqency and poked around and somehow started the msfs atis voice and nothing would stop it. 4)The useful option to show only text between me and atc has gone, no doubt now hidden behing some obscure unlabeled icon. 5) Where is the documentation for all these new features. If its in discord thats no help because like many here, i refuse to use it. Get a proper forum for petes sake.
Not sure I understand most of your critiques.
There is a big pink download button at the top right of every page on our website. On that same website, you also have the link to the wiki, which is the first place to go if you’re looking for a “manual” or information about the product. In fact, if you had searched a bit further, you would have found a dedicated knowledge page specifically for the toolbar. It not only contains information about all the features and options, but you’ll even find the download link there again: Toolbar - BeyondATC Help Center . You would then find out that the option tab still exists, and allows you to filter the messages log as you want, hiding traffic or CPDLC messages. Same goes for ATIS, which is still available in text in the frequency tab.
Again, it looks like some of you are having trouble understanding the fact that Discord is our main support platform. Whether you like Discord or not is entirely up to you, but this was in no way made a surprise. It has always been clearly mentioned that Discord is our official channel for support and troubleshooting, and it’s really not going to change for the multiple reasons I have already explained several times in this thread.
The only point I agree with, is the smaller font for the atis. Definitely harder to read now, especially in VR compared to the previous toolbar.
But overall I like the new version a lot more than the previous one.
Just flew Tallin to Stockholm and received my first ILS approach, weather cloudless skies.
So this bears out the comments.
Doing VFR I used to get Squawk Code, TO RNY, and Altitude. Not getting Altitude anymore?
Am I doing something wrong … I am choosing VFR with Flight Following.
Ii don’t know if transition altitude is a thing in BATC? I never get altitudes when flying VFR irl. I fly below 4000t, which is TA where I live.
When I contact the fir for flight following, it’s me who gives intentions, pob, current altitude, erc.
Second flight Madrid to Lisbon, BATC supplied ILS approach.
Is there something you want to say with this post? Like: it’s VFR why ILS? If you think that’s off the mark then please file a bug report at discord.
Further up in the thread, the poster was in a discussion about mostly getting visual approaches in the US, and it was noted that you usually get ILS in Europe.

A note to acknowledge the traffic map showing - “API Key Required” - messages on the map tiles.
This is a new requirement from our map provider and one we (and a number of other major apps out there!) didn’t know was coming.
The messages will not affect the usage of the map in the short term, but we are working to resolve the issue. However the map is part of the install package, so will be fixed in a full upcoming patch release.
From the announcement channel
Thanks for the info! Good to hear that a fix is being worked on.
I remember this happening to little navmap as well once…. That was solved as well a while later.
…and also in JetCard, they are patching it right now.
BATC is a great addon and improving all the time. One thing I have noticed, though (and I’m not sure if it’s something I’m doing wrong), is that I can’t seem to use a callsign that reflects real world flights. I usually use the FBW A320neo and, as an example, I tried to replicate an EasyJet flight today - EZY64JW. However, using “64JW” just leads ATC to refer to my callsign as AIRBUS. If, on the other hand, I use “4W” BATC refers to my flight as “Easy4Whiskey”. Only a small issue, but it would be good to understand why it keeps happening.
