Binding for Visual Assistances On/Off is flipped

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: I have visibility for both the Visual Assistances and Traffic Nameplates set to a single button, so that I can activate and deactivate at the same time. I use the On/Off binding rather than the Toggle, so that if for whatever reason the sim starts with one on and the other off, it doesn’t just keep cycling between.

The effect for “Display Visual Assistances On/Off” is reversed, so my binding to turn them off (a single press of a button) is instead bound to Display Visual Assistances On, and Nameplates Off. Vice versa for switching them back on (which is the same button but held, which I’ve set to generate a different virtual button through the VKB software).

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every flight.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Bind Display Visual Assistances On and Nameplates On to one button, and their Off options to another

  2. Observe that when one turns off, the other goes on

  3. Swap the bindings for Display Visual Assistances On/Off

I’ve voted but you need to vote for your own bug as well.

Can replicate

That in itself seems like it should be a bug  Why would someone not want to vote for their own bug?

Thank you for the bug report.

We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.
