Hi community,
I want to bind switches on my honeycomb bravo to the individual magneto switches in Multi-Engine aircraft, i.e. eng1 L and R and eng 2 L and R as opposed to the off/R/L/both/start rotary.
Can anyone advise how to do this preferrably without an external tool?
Cheers
Andy
Currently badly bugged (mfs or mfs+honeycomb plugin) so it’s not really worth it. You can try to create a profile (a copy of the default so you keep bugs to minimum (mouse gets erratic and flickers in and out of existence, etc) in which you assign the magnetos you want to the switches on the Bravo. Usually the ones on top of the throttles. But note that they don’t work well. Currently if you set Mag Left and Mag Right “ON” it will not be interpreted as “BOTH” by the sim… because… reasons LOL. Also each MAG LEFT or RIGHT position is expected by the sim to be a simple key/button press yet the Bravo transmits a continuous “set to ON” command which makes the sim lose its wits and subsequently start to flicker those positions on and off like crazy. Both command works normally but is loses the whole purpose in this case as what we want is to be able to achieve Both setting by flipping to independent switches up and not assign a third button to Both so this works…
Also if you have an Alpha too you should have a copy of the default profile in which you have at least removed the mags controls because thos act on all mags from a plane even if it has 8 or more.
