Bing Imagery observations (With and without labels)

Hi,

I was looking at an airfield I am working on for MSFS in Bing (Web) and the labels were enabled over the map/aerial imagery. And as expected, the airfield looked exactly like it is in MSFS. The aerial imagery in this case shows the airfield aspect as it was a few years ago.

However, I disabled the map labels in the options and all the sudden the imagery changed and the airfield became up to date… I zoomed out and the whole area seems to have two different image versions (older with labels, newer without).

Now I don’t know if this is consistent across the planet, I did a few random tests in other Bing areas yet I did not see this version difference elsewhere yet.

Now MSFS in the case of my airfield (area/country maybe) it is using the Bing imagery database that displays when the map labels are enabled, and thus an older imagery…

Now if this pattern of imagery version vs labels’ happens in other areas, then MSFS is using, for some reason, the imagery version Bing uses for labels.

Any thought?
