Black Friday Sale 2024 in the Marketplace?

I know everybody is very busy ironing out MSFS 2024 issues & problems right now…but, when is the Black Friday sale in the Marketplace going to start this year? I hope they don’t forget!!! Last year it was thorughout last week of November…

I have my shopping list ready!

:rofl: mmmm…not really?..Marketplace is alive on MSFS 2020 which some of us still enjoy while msfs 2024 is being fixed

Jason, I’m sure, is not the only one wondering why no Black Friday sale has materialized on the Marketplace. I know I certainly am.

Another week or so and Black Friday will be over.

It’s become Black Friday month these days. Like my wife’s Birthday Season. I think I get until about 10:30AM day-of on mine…

Does anyone know if I buy a plane in FS2020 now, whether it will quickly show up in FS2024?

Asking for a friend.

Hey Zebedee, I bought the Embraers by VirtualCol on the FS2020 version and they show up on my marketplace and game in FS2024. Not sure if they work properly as I am unable to get inside them from the compulsary pre-check walk :smiley: . I am on XBox. I keep playing on the amazing 2020 version for now until FS2024 is playabe at some point.

Hey! Thanks so much for the tip, as I am a user of both PC & Xbox platforms I should buy it only on the Marketplace so that I can enjoy the addons in both worlds.
Hopefully they have a Black Friday Sale after all…2 days remaining!

Yes I’m also hoping we’ll see a Black Friday sale in the Marketplace; even if it’s only in the 2020 Marketplace - since our purchases should transfer over (eventually) to 2024.

Yes… And ironically, they are having server issues… lol

I purchased a few things. But twice it just had a random failure in the purchase (not fund related).

And scrolling through my wishlist, only about 2/3rd of the items in there actually show. The rest have the spinning icon but never render…

Yessss Black Friday sale has started! Nice! Server seems good now too. Already bought a few items.
Very dissapointed that my number 1 airliner on the wishlist, the PMDG 737-800 , is not even on sale! Gutted!
Do you guys think the Bredok3D one would suit my needs as a casual simmer? Or is it that bad?

That particular aircraft hasn’t been updated in like a couple years. It is basically a 747 reskinned. It doesn’t have CFD added to it. It doesn’t have any of the current ground handling added to it. Nor is it likely to have any 2024 updates done.

Thanks @tgbushman for your advice. I won’t spend money on this aircraft then. Again, it is a shame the PMDG 737-800 is not on sale, as I would have gone for it. 75 bucks I find it a bit excessive for an addon…and my budget
