And some of us have been encountering it for years and dont have any reason to share your optimism. But have no other recourse than to wait and see.
Which makes it even more annoying.

Iâve never noticed it before but since SU4 in 2024 itâs awful. These lines are everywhere.
this is because the earth is flat and msfs is trying to wrap it around a globe causing cracks in the matrixâŠ
btw this is a joke no way am i a flat earther.. just want to clear that up. but bigfoot is real ![]()
(EDIT) maybe that is the problem the panels they are useing are flat and not allowing for the curvature of the earth.
I did not have these lines before, but now they are pretty much always present. Even at low altitude and low anlges looking at the water.
This must be something introduced lately.
BTW, the black lines I get are with photogrammetry off.
A year go if you are talking about FS2024 and 5 years ago in MSFS. You just didnât notice them before for some reason. Maybe you usually fly over land or at nightâŠ
I flew a T-6 up the Delaware river when the week the game launched and Lines were all over the place.
I donât think they have any intentions of fixing it soon.
Itâs like the jagged night time edges that the AMD GPU crowd is wrestling with.
Been here for a while.
At least that one can be fixed by changing hardware, this not so much..
I have seen these, too. Very annoying.
I often fly close to the coast or over sea water, because one of the things I often do is Helo transportation on oil rigs. Just recently I came back to FS24 after a few month hiatus. I would have noticed these lines back then, since Iâm very picky when it comes to immersion breaking graphics glitches.
Just a comment but with the latest NVIDIA driver the lines seem fewer to me. I am often doing an approach to SFO over water. Running a 5080. Anyway seems to have calmed down for me.
