Black Square Caravan Pro - Stuck in Beta Range

The throttle in my Black Square Caravan Pro is stuck in the beta.

I am running MSFS2020 with a saitek throttle quadrant mapped to the standard throttle axis. The first time I few the Caravan Pro, I had no issues, the throttle worked as expected, moving from beta, to idle then thrust as I moved the lever on the quadrant forward. Since that first flight, I haven’t been able to move the throttle out of beta range. As I push the lever forward on the quadrant, it just moves the throttle in the Caravan through the full travel in beta. Though it shouldn’t be needed, I tried mapping a button to the reverse throttle toggle, but that didn’t help. Lastly, I disconnected all of my peripherals, loaded up the flight sim and Caravan and tried moving the throttle out of beta with the mouse, but it still wouldn’t budge.

Am I missing some button, switch, or technique to get the throttle to work?

It sounds like you have a binding somewhere that’s activating reverse throttle.

So with only mouse, and keyboard plugged in, you still cannot move the power lever? Be aware that on some planes, when you click drag the lever, you may find it will get stuck at a detent, and may not move further. If you hover over it, and use the mouse wheel to clear the detent, you can then drag it with the mouse again.

It can happen in the other direction as well, from full power down to idle, but won’t go over the gate. Keyboard controls can bypass this, and will happily clear the gate when held down.

I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling the Caravan and that resolved the issue.
