That was my first flight in this aircraft. I haven’t tried the pump yet. I just took off for my second flight and am having this same issue. Cool/realistic as it may be, not the best introduction to this aircraft. I reset all the failures. I would have thought this would have taken care of the issue.
Pump does nothing for this from what I can tell.
depend how you manage the aircraft like it depend if you changed something in the rate of global faillure or other stuff, I can’t guess as I m not aware about the causes of such issues. sorry
maybe you can try disable faillure if you have a doubt on the issue’s origine
“Random failures can be completely disabled by
pressing the indicated decrease key until the global failure rate indicates “NO FAILURES”. The
global failure rate multiplies the probability of random failures occurring while in “RANDOM”
failure mode based on their selected Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF). For Example, if a
specific failure is expected to occur once in every 5,000 hrs of simulated flight time, a global
failure rate of 1024x, will result in this failure occurring roughly once in every 5 hrs of simulated
flight time instead. Settings between 8x and 32x are recommended to add a little excitement to
your virtual flying experience, as many hundreds of hours can be flown a 1x real-time failures
without encountering a single failure, while settings above 256x almost guarantee multiple
failures per flight” ( from the Analog King Air User Guide )
This sounds like a binding issue. Happens from time to time with 3rd party aircraft. What are you using for yoke/throttle quad?
I bound one of my buttons on my CH Throttle Quadrant. I also have the Saitek Switch Panel but wasn’t using that at first. Used the lever in-game and nothing seems to work. I think you may be right though. I’ll keep trying, then post once I figure it out.
try just choosing a default controler profile and see what it does, or create a new one with no bindings just to test the theory
On my side I had an issue with an autopilot not being able be turned ON via the mouse, once I disconnect the joystick the master AP buttom in game work as intended, I would sugger to perform a test with a micro fly using keyboard only and mouse of course
I semi figured it out. When I reset the flight for runway takeoff, everything up and running, the landing gear on any switch seems to work, so I suspect I must be missing from the cold start check list (?). What would I be missing from the checklist that’s not set that would affect the landing gear from going up? further suggestions?
Is that me or after 0.1.1.b KA is very floaty on landing even on idle?
if all lights on the ann panels are extinguished, there is nothing left to do. I haven’t used the checklist since the first day..no issues with gear or anything.
I can’t explain why starting on the runway would make it work…perplexing ..
Iv’e noticed a lot af changes, but not floating. Are you loading it different. An aft CG will usually cause floating. That and higher appr speeds. I shoot for 105-110 over the threshold, seems to work well.
I’m having difficulties slowing the aircraft down. Are the conditioner levers supposed to be on high during landing? Full flaps, gear down, idle throttle, props full forward and cond levers on high I get 120 on 500fpm descent
trying to use the Global Freightways livery but can not get it too work.
Did I miss something

Apparently most people in this thread didn’t read the manual, I’m seeing some bizarre questions
You fly the king air in low idle at all times, only time your in high idle is when starting the left engine(right engine must be in high idle) or when charging the batteries
The POH says…
ENGINE STARTING (BATTERY)
NOTE
Starting with environmental bleed air off will provide cooler
engine starts.

I shoot approach at 120, 110 over the fence, followed by idle. KA floats forever. In fact if I keep it in ground effect it never settles down. If put throttles in beta airplane just drops. So I haven’t found a sweet spot yet.
They’re working on increasing drag in low speeds, so the slowing down should improve in that regard. You can also look at the overhead (lighting) panel. There’s a place card that tells you all the speed restrictions when you can activate flaps and gear down. You can engage the first level of flaps at 200 kts. That should help slow things down.
I wish we could get a straight answer: when do you use high idle and when do you use low idle?
