This aircraft is great when it works however I have 2 problems with it.

  1. Starting from cold and dark with everything up and running advancing the throttle does nothing. Starting a flight on the runway all is as expected.
  2. The battery sometimes runs flat after a few minutes and everything dies.

I use Spad however even when I attempt to fly without anything apart from the sim running, selecting all controls with the mouse, the results are exactly the same. So it is not a binding problem but something in the aircraft.

A pity because I really liked this aircraft in 2020.

I don’t have either of those issues in 20 or 24 ….so must be a binding thing somewhere!

I haven’t used it in 24 for a while, so if I remember I will check tonight and see if anything has changed!

Thanks for your input. It has me beaten at this stage. I have eliminated everything I can find that could be causing a problem without result. Definitely not a binding problem as there is no change with all bindings removed.

Just trying mine here in 24, no problem starting from cold and dark!

Did you use any ‘get rounds’ to get it working in 24 before the update came out, if so you do need to remove those I believe.

Are you advancing throttle with a peripheral or with the mouse?

Alternator requires a minimum RPM to charge.. idle is too slow. Looks like minimum RPM for alternator to work is about 860 rpm.
