very little chance for MSFS2020. its a lot of more work for devs to maintain 2 simuators, for me this is reasonable.
According to msfsaddons.com the SR-71 will likely be FS2024 only. The C-130J is exclusive to FS2024 as well.
Canāt confirm this information, I didnāt get around watching yet.
Good to get an update. Iām most interested in the Huey, 737-200 and C130.
Happy that they are for MSFS2024 and not MSFS2020 as who will not be upgrading lol.
The big negative is that Blackbird take absolutley forever to release their aircraft!
Continuing to sit on aircraft developments for 3+ year dev cycles. Nothing new. Sounds like they restarted the 737 too?
At least I wasnāt the only one who failed to understand the motivation behind this stream. Basically nothing to show, nothing to announce, still working on the same things.
They are just too slow, hope they do well but they are too slow.

I thought it was this Christmas or first part of 2025. Christmas of 2025 sounds like it shouldnāt have even been brought up as an update.
Well, I wonāt be upgrading (at least certainly not immediately), so now you know someone. But oh well. Iāve lost a fair amount of interest in flying the SR-71 over the past years of development. And as far as the C-130 goes, while Iām more interested (especially if it were an older model), Iām not going to upgrade just for that. I wish them well, but their development cycle is way too long.
Maybe theyāre trying to simulate the actual development time of the real aircraft.
Classic! Full immersion
The big news I took away is that the 737-200 will be all glass and not classic gauges, unless I misunderstood what he was saying.
For me, I donāt know what the point is if itās not classic steam gauges?
We still donāt know what āChristmas 2025ā means for them.
If it is December this year then it should be Christmas 2024.
And if it is December next year then it sounds like a ridiculous precise date for a product that is still more than 1 year and half away from being ready.
I didnāt do my homework but maybe this is how the 737-200s that are currently flying are equipped?
Yes, he referenced a specific upgrade for it.
Sure, thatās a good point. But, and this is personally for me only, Iām sure there are people out there who will be fine with this decision, Iām a steam gauge guy and mostly GA and vintage at that; and that is what would make the 737-200 unique enough for me to want buy it. For me, a tube liner is a tube liner, especially when it comes to glass cockpit ones, and thereās plenty of other glass tube liners to choose from if I were so inclined to fly one. But a (vintage) steam gauge version could pique my interest in flying a tube liner.
But, again, thatās just me. I was surprised.
I think there was a slight misunderstanding. We meant Christmas THIS YEAR, as in December 2024.

Thank you for the clarification. The way āChristmas, 2025ā was said made it sound like Christmas 2025. That makes a lot more sense now. I couldnāt figure out how that could be estimated this far in advance.
If you guys want to check out the full stream, we just uploaded a copy to our YouTube page: https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/yZqvcMsEx5U
No worries ahaha. Trust me, we definitely want it out the door before Christmas 2025
So UH-1H will be MSFS2024 only?
