Hi everyone
the latest update of the PC-6 porter from blackbird simulations seems to contain a trojan file, downloading from the official site of the distributor !
the version of the update is the BBS_PC-6_v1.1.7_230301 the download does’nt complete because windows defender signals maleware contained in the file .exe.
It 's the first time that happens, has anyone else happened ?
Are they trying to “investigate” my PC ?

False positive. Due to changes in Defender, this is happening to a fair amount of people.
We’re trying to get our stuff digitally signed so that this doesn’t happen anymore.

Can i actually trust the installation of the .exe file or should i wait for new one ?
You may trust this file.
IMHO any entity, no matter how small, should do this BEFORE expecting people to pay for software.
My PC keeps removing the file before I can allow it to stay on the computer. I don’t know what to do.
It would be nice if Blackbird would release a new version of the installer that will not mark itself as a trojan virus.
Disable defender. It’s a false positive. We’re working on getting our installer certified.
