Hi all.
At present I am quite happy with SU5, in particular I gained many fps also in critical cities.
Anyway, today I tried to fly over New York just after sunset, and I noticed that, while the roads are illuminated, many buildings and skyscrapers are almost completely dark. Did you notice the same thing? Is there any option to change the situation?
Thanks
With photogrammetry off (other settings are impossible for me) everything looks well lit-up at dusk.
No wonder, they are all sleeping after gaming PC were banned.
Blackout in Manhattan - it could almost be a Gil Scott Heron song title!!!
Interesting, thanks. It is a pity however, because NY with PG is gorgeous, and with SU5 the fps remain well over 30 also on my medium level system. Anyone has ideas about the fact that with PG almost all the buildings are dark instead?
With or without photogrammetry?
I will go take a look right now and see how it shows up for me and my marginal PC.
I believe that’s some Daredevil’s operation at Hell’s Kitchen
It is on.
And not lit. Can’t turn it on or off.
I just checked it out and I found no blackout. All looked normal to me.
Thanks people for the reports. it’s quite strange, I will try changing the time, maybe the buildings turn on the lights after a certain hour.
Hi made some further tests, but I am a bit perplexed.
This is Manhattan in my MSFS, full night: some lights in the buildings are visible, but quite weak.
This a real photo, as usually people imagine the city at night. The lights are much stronger.
What do you think?
It depends on the picture you use as reference, in real life it looks more like this. I don’t necessarily mean Asobo needs to go this way artistically, but I feel like their implementation is close, but not quite, to real life.
