Bleed through of aerial imagery with certain ground textures at custom airports

I haven’t I think I disabled that kind of stuff, but I will investigate.

I wonder if it isn’t related to this

This is still a problem with the latest beta, 1.3.22.0. The satellite image showing the shadow of aircraft parked at stands is still visible, and I’m getting grass on taxiways. None of this was an issue prior to the SU1 betas. This is EGPH

See pics here of similar issues, trees in particular look terrible.

This taken at MK Studios EIDW with latest Beta 1.3.22.0

This is 3th party issue

Afraid not, this picture here abeam of N2 at EIDW taken with default scenery.

I am experiencing the same. Noticed it after landing LSZH (MK Studios, Asobo deactivated) on runway 14. You see the grass textures bleeding…

this is even worse in su2 beta

This has been persistent since SU1.

Always ensured Gaya/Asobo versions are disabled. Happens on landing for example at EDDF (Aerosoft), EDDL (released for MSFS2024). A brighter version of the underlying textures pop up underneath and slightly ahead of the aircraft. Absolutely annoying.

This doesn’t seem to happen at Aerosoft’s EBBR and other third party airports not even officially updated for MSFS2024.

I‘ve done a lot of testing regarding this issue at aerosofts new EDDL scenery. There a kind of ground texture bleeds through the grass around the aircraft.

I made the following observations:

  • The problem occurs only in conjunction with City Update 1 Germany, which includes that area. If CU1 is deactivated, the issue is solved.
  • I couldn’t find any other factors with an influence on the problem. I cleared the community folder, I tried different graphic settings and I tried to change the order in the scenery library. Nothing changes anything.
  • So the issue is definitely caused bei the photogrammetry of City Update 1.
