Hi, I installed SU5 beta today and there are these blocks around ships. I disabled sea traffic but the ships and the blocks remain…
Hi @Jumbojam2385, when reporting an issue please DO NOT delete the template and fill in all required fields. They are important for the devs and users that want to replicate and contribute to your report. Thank you !
If any addons, have you disabled them (community/Marketplace) ?
What are the coordinates where your screenshot has been taken ?
I just realized it depends on Project Coastline scenery…
Moved to Sim Update 5 Beta | MSFS 2024 > External 3rd Party Products since seems to be a conflict with a 3rd party addon.
You should report the issue to the developer of the addon you mentioned.
Attached is a video of what their Panama and Suez Canals addon looks like for me. I’ve sent multiple emails to their support email (projectcoastlinemsfs@gmail.com), the only email I found for them, with not a peep back from them at all. After several months of trying to reach them for support it is rather disappointing to say the least.
Hi, anyone can tell me if the issue is fixed after the latest SU5 beta update (I had to revert to SU4)? Thanks!
Have you reported the issue to the developer ?. It is not an issue that will be fixed in a Sim Update.
I’ve reported this issue multiple times over the past few months (rocking ships and arrow-like wakes) using several support email addresses I’ve been able to find and have received no response. There doesn’t appear to be an official website, forum, or Discord for support either that they can be reached through.
At this point, I’d recommend avoiding this developer entirely until they demonstrate consistent engagement with the community—particularly when it comes to basic customer support.
I have reported, but the question is: why developer? The issue was not present until SU4, so it’s something introduced by Asobo with SU5…
I just purchased it a couple of months ago, and it did not work from the start. So, I cannot say if it worked prior to SU4, and I am in SU4, not in the SU5 Beta so I cannot confirm anything with that version either. Cheers
Because the code of the core sim may evolve and impact 3rd party developments. In this case developers need to update their products or contact Asobo through the dedicated SDK forums to understand if the changes are intentional or could be an unexpected bug that they need to fix.
