Blue squares/tiles on Greenland snow/ice textures visible in sim when loaded in and on the world map

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Blue boxes/tiles appear all over greenland on the world map, they stick when spawned in.

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?

Never noticed it until now, i dont think so, but it would be appreciated if someone outside the beta could confirm if this is local to the beta.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?

Yes, no change. The bug is still present.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

1. Go to greenland on the world map
2. Zoom in and notice that when you get to a certain zoom level the blue boxes start appearing
3. Load in and observe the boxes are still present, painting the snow blue…

Spawned at Nuuk, still happens very far out.

The tiles grow as you move the camera.

I cannot repro this anywhere in the world, but Greenland.

Time of day has no effect.

I first noticed this in SU1 beta, im not sure if thats when it actually regressed or it was just happen stance it was during that time i found this issue. Recreated the bug report as it was archived before anyone logged it.

Yeah just flying over Greenland now, and seeing this.

Super disappointing after a 5hr flight.

Pretty sure i never saw this in 2020, so its a major regression for sure…

We have created an internal ticket to see if our team already has this logged, and if not they will attempt to reproduce the issue and create a new bug report. This item is now marked as feedback-logged. If there is an existing bug report or one is created, we will move this thread to bug-logged.

I see it has changed to a darker grey color than the surrounding white snow, but the tiles are still present in the SU2 beta, as of this comment its the second build (1.4.9.0)
