Mera 2 right now on PC through steam. I’m still very confused using world map or well doing anything other than the flight training or pre set flights. But I tried a simple pattern with a taildragger, I had this blue circle with cross hairs inside, and a left facing arrow . Everywhere I looked, it followed my eye focus. Its SO annoying RIGHT in the middle of my vision. What is it for and how do I get rid of it? Also, How can I find other airports while flying if I want to divert to a different one?
I also want to know if this blue thingy can be permanently turned off somehow. A somewhat unrelated question: is there a way to turn off the acceleration that happens if you rotate a dial for a while, suddenly the same dial increments the instrument in much larger steps? Very annoying…

Were you using a flight training session and/or do you have some aids/assist features enabled in the MSFS settings?
Either of those may explain the blue crosshairs and arrow that you’re seeing - essentially redirecting you to where you need to go.
There are so many things in settings I want to change but they do nothing when I click them. Like assistant settings. I don’t it, but cant turn that off along with a ton of other settings.
