I’m not sure if this is a general issue or a setting I could change to improve.
I notice that ground textures are not very sharpe or detailed.
Flying PMDG 737-800 and the higher I get the terrain begins to look a blurry mess, even at low altitude it’s not exactly detailed either but is better.
Would Tlod effect this?
As I’m flying detailed airliners ( PMDG 737) I have my tlod set to 100, I also use DLSS performance (preset M).
Currently I’m not using any frame gen or dynamic settings.
Texture resolution is set to high, buildings high, trees, rocks e.g all low.
My main specs 7800x3d, 4070ti super, 64gb ddr5 cl30.
Just trying to work out what setting may be effecting the rough looking textures, and how I can improve things without effecting performance.
What is your download speed?
Around 450-500mbps
I’m just thinking maybe it’s a setting that’s causing it, like LODs or DLSS performance?
Sometimes I notice some blurry parts in the cabin on the 737, in particular numbers and letters on mfd display.
This has been a core issue with the game since launch, it’s not your PC

Yesterday, I had the same issue. Has been much better the day before. I have my TLOD at 170 and Texture resolution at ultra right now, and still the ground textures were pretty blurry. Seems to be an issue with their servers.

By the way did you settle on some settings from your recent thread, would love to check them out myself. I’m not sure how much different a 4070ti super compares to the 5070 though. But if you get time to post them some time that would be great.

Wilco.
I’ll post them in the other thread. I’m clearly pushing it with these settings, but still achieve 80-130fps. My setup is clearly CPU bottlenecked now, and I’m going to upgrade the rest of the system in summer this year.
