Blurry Runways at airport near Photogrammetry area

Nope. Still experiencing this, havent flown in weeks because of this…

Havent done that because when I was in the beta, i could revert back to SU3 and the issue was gone. So they introduced this on SU4 and started from a certain build update, which broke the off screen precaching. This is not a problem on my end.

Ive done already so much testing and tweaking, im done… im leaving it for now. My bet is that this has something to do with the precaching issue that is going on right now and that it will be fixed in SU5. Until then, no flying.

Nope. Never had any success with that. I’m pretty sure I have an open ticket on something I reported back in 2020 that’s never been addressed from the year 2021.

I hope this will be fixed so I can finally use the simulator like normal…

I’ve been flying mostly in the dark (masking runway texture issues, the runway lights are always pin sharp), and into some (cached) airports so I’ve not had too many issues. I decided to fly into Ini KLAX in the MD-11 the otjher night. First time in ages into KLAX (airport locally stored, but not yet loaded into data cache). This is on my new PC, so not as slow as my older one, and I had blurry runways into 25R and more crucially at a ramp intersection, a terrain step due to those unloaded runway textures. Of course, the MD-11 crashed into that terrain step. This is still a major issue for this sim. I do wish they’d address it. It’s a pain having to manually pre-cache an airport by visiting it ahead of time to load it into data cache.

It means alot to me if you managed to get a hold of this and to fix it, Because then I am able to fly normally again!

I find it interesting that there is a mod on FS.to specifically for EDDF (Aerosoft) which removes many PG trees around the surrounding area to ā€œimprove performanceā€ of the airport. Could it be that the PG affecting airport runway texture late load times are due to loading and rendering too much PG because of excessive PG trees?

This can be the case, but im not sure

If you have Aerosoft EDDF, you could give the mod a try and see if the problem persists.
