Brief description of the issue:
The transponder controls are not true to real life, and the way they are done in the sim is clunky and slow. In the sim, you have to go to âAâ to set the first digit, âBâ to set the second and so on. AFAIK by looking at documentation and how many many other transponders work, the two knobs on either side of the number display set the numbers of the transponder. The knob on the left sets the two high digits, and the knob on the right sets the two low digits. The âABCDâ knob is actually just setting the transponder mode (described by the reference in the image below).
