Boeing 737 Max Ground Power INOP/Unavailable

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The 737 Max in cold and dark state at the gate appears (visually) to have a GPU connected. When you go into the cockpit, there is a blue light in the OHP that says ground power is “Available”, but using the switch (which moves) to turn it on does not result in aircraft powering up with ground power. As a workaround I have to turn or BAT and then immediately start APU instead.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every flight starting at gate.

  1. Just launch a flight starting at any gate cold and dark and try to enable ground power via the switch in the OHP
