Boeing 737-Max Passenger Flights in career (what a waste of time)

I’m playing the Sim on the X-box, I have just used the 737 Max in career mode, I decided to fly a longer flight from Paris to Halifax, have flown a few 2-3 hour flights but fancied a trans Atlantic trip.
Flew this real time (no SIM rate increase), so about 6-7 hours.
All was going well until I started the descent approach into Halifax, suddenly the SIM becomes juddery and freezes up. Anyway onto the final, and the instrumentation in the aircraft become blurry and when they reappear I have black screens on the displays. Also the buttons become non responsive, so I have no control for the landing and post landing. Therefore I crash, end up with no money and end up with a huge bill for repairs.
There should be a button for “skipping to shutdown” in these situations, the SIM has glitched through no fault of my own.
The Sim needs to be fixed, it’s now nearly 8 months since the release, yet these issues still persist. I’m getting to a point where it’s frustrating, boring and a thoroughly miserable experience. I’ve put so much time into various flights in the past and they’ve all glitched.
They should tell us if the Sim running smoothly on X-box isn’t a realistic target, then we can all move on and stop wasting money on it.
