ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta? Yes, but not to this magnitude.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue: Boeing 737 Max

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Yes

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. 737 on autopilot in career mode
  2. Increase the sim rate one click. Plane begins to porpoise. In previous versions, it sometimes helps to increase it one more click. Not so in this case. It got worse.
  3. Return rate to normal. Porpoising does not stop.
  4. Slowed the rate down to below x1.0. That has sometimes helped it stop when it has happened to me in the past. Nope. No effect here.

I’m pretty sure this is correlated to your FPS so if you flew over a denser scenery or you increased your graphics load it exacerbates the problem.

I’m getting 60 FPS and it is insanely bad at just 4x sim rate, it can BARELY handle 2x. Most other planes can go to 8x or even 16x – it’s the 737 Max 8 specifically that is improperly tuned/modeled. It will literally shake itself apart and crash the plane.

You can turn off the autotrim. It won’t hold altitude perfectly but it does stop the bouncing.
