I can’t input the squawk code into the Transponder of the Boeing 737 Max. It’s always in 2000 or 7000. Not even clicking on the Clear button.
Is it my problem or is it a bug?

The same problem in my case, and have again one issue with set qnh to standart, it’s not work either
it is a bug, and paired with it, the copilot’s voice and the atc voice have a big difference in volume that can’t be corrected (i think) so when they stay going on for hours on end back and forth about the squawk code (which you can’t change) you also can’t turn the volume down because you stop hearing atc

How does a bug like that pass QA, especially from Working Title is beyond me. Frustrating to say the least.
The number of easily findable and fixable bugs that were allowed into, and still are in the game is a joke. Getting constantly pestered about a squawk code is driving me crazy. I don’t think they did ANY QA.
MSFS used to be a good simulator. It’s now just a game.
same with me!!
Thank you very much! That is correct.

I am trying to fly in Vatsim A737-Max and when the ATC gives me squawk code, I am not able to enter the code. the instrument doesn’t take any key press and stays at 2000
It does work but in a weird way, and you cannot manually change it only ATC announcements can change it.
before you accept a flight (with the Boeing) you need too go in your EFB en set your XFDR to mode C. only then does the transponder function, for some weird reason it defaults to off.
