Every time I resume from pausing the sim for about 4 minutes or more, the instrument screens go white for as long as approx. 20 seconds. It is acceptable for 2-3 seconds but this is too long.
This only happens with the Boeing 747 but not with other large aircraft.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time

Can anyone please confirm if you are facing similar issue?
Seeing the same on both the retail SU3 build and the beta SU4 build - appears to be part of 2024’s aggressive unloading/loading of LODs and apparently systems whenever they’re not in view to boost performance.
Can replicate using the Escape key to pause the sim. Also blank screens are displayed if you spawned on the runway, it takes them a couple of seconds to load.
When I was testing the 747 freighter on the runway the other night in 1.6.21.0 while doing repeated starts on a runway (don’t ask). The white screens were there until everything else loaded in then they popped into normal mode and looked fine. They may also have flipped back to white just by me going into extenral camera then returning to cockpit, I can’t remember for sure though. White is a weird colour though, it caught my attention. I didn’t specifically try pausing the sim though to see what happened.
No, maybe around 5 seconds. So definitively something is going wrong if you need to wait 4-5 minutes. Let me do another test making sure I pause the sim 4/5 minutes. Maybe I did not wait so long in my test.
Edit: paused the sim 5 minutes and it took 11 seconds for the white screens to recover.
