Boeing 777 take off issues

I need some help with the PMDG 777-300er. Every time I take off and engage the AP, LNAV & VNAV the aircraft pitches up steeply (around 20 degrees) and loses a lot of airspeed for a few seconds before settling down to a normal angle.

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong tbh, at first I thought it may be an incorrect trim setting but I set the trim before take off according to the FMC.

In addition to this, when I rotate the aircraft always seems to become very unstable and will drift to the left just after rotation. It’s fine once I give it some rudder but was wondering if this is something else I’m doing wrong or is “normal” for the 777?

It looks like a key binding conflict to me but I suggest you post your issue on the PMDG forum directly

Hmm, key binding issue? Other aircraft seem to be ok as well as the PMDG 738-800.

Thanks for the suggestion to sign up to their forum but I’d rather not.

In that case, why not talk to our support team? They are pretty good in sorting those things out.

Oddly enough, I’ve been suffering with this issue with the 77W this morning — the panel confirms AP’s activated but it’s just not responding to input commands. Not had this problem before.
