Boeing CH-47D Chinnok - Blackbird Simulations have to be disabled and then enabled again every time you start the sim to see it in the airplane list

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Every time the sim is restarted the CH47D Chinook is removed from the aircraft list in the Free Flight menu.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

Every time the sim load.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load sim and check aircraft list under Free Flight menu

  2. Go to library in Marketplace and disable then enable the CH47D Chinook

  3. Check the aircraft list under Free Flight menu.

Just for reference, issue started in last SU4 build: In 1.6.31.0 Ch 47 It has completely disappeared

Re Blackbird Simulation CH-47D Chinook disappearing from aircraft list.

I have been troubleshooting this issue too. I have disabled and enabled the Blackbird CH47D several times. Have even flown it for a short bit. But after exiting msfs 2024 and returning later it disappeared from the aircraft list.

I own the Miltech CH47 Chinook and the issue with the Blackbird Chinook persisted even with the Miltech Chinook removed from community folders (I use addons linker for my 3rd party addons).

Just in case its related I am currently troubleshooting a group of livery addons that is causing CTDs during msfs 2024 loading. Still working thru this but it may be related to Miltech Chinook liveries.

It doesn’t show up for me at all even though it’s enabled.

Did you disable it and then enable it again? That is what is required (on my end anyway) to see it.

When you do activate it, there is NO response for the Collective.. The problem occured after the last update, or after I tried the Stranger Things, which I disabled.

Could you confirm if if you? own the MSFS 2020 version of the Chinook?

I have 2020 Premium Deluxe and 2024 Premium Deluxe. I have not bought any extra heli.

I have the same problem and no purchased helicopters - neither for 2020 nor 2024.

Same issue for me. I have to disable and enable for it to show up each time. After shutting the game off and starting again have to do same thing. Also tried to download the package locally but that has no effect

Thanks for that topic, I thought I was becoming crazy but it seems to be a recognized bug indeed.

I’m still on MSFS2024 SU4, I didn’t opt in to the SU5 beta, and this problem still occurs today. I have disabled/enabled the Chinook yesterday so that it would finally appear in my hangar. Today, it was gone again from my aircraft list :smiley:

The workaround of disable/enable in the library is working from now, but I hope they can solve that issue in SU5.
