Can I get some advise please. I am simply unable to get toe brakes to work in MSFS….work perfect in other sims. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Thx
Are you assigning them to an axis, or to a button?
Axis. Tried assigning to left and right brake…not good either…rudder pedals work correct everywhere else
Trying to get toe brakes working
Have you tried calibrating the axis recently?
Did you try unchecking the Reverse Axis box?
Hmmmmm. Shot in the dark here. Adjust sensitivities settings to get full travel on the axis? You’re assigned to an axis, but if you’re pushing the toe brakes all the way down, your axis is only showing partial affect (like lightly pushing on the brakes of a car rather than pushing hard enough sometimes). I would think the “full push” of the brake should show as all the way to the right on the bar underneath the assigned axis.
Regards
Looking at your bindings, the bindings themselves seems to be correct, but the Reverse Axis shouldn’t be checked. As according to this video. On release, the white bar should be empty, but when you press the toe brakes the white bar should gradually fill based on the amount of pressure you exert. If it jumps around, it’s either an issue with your sensitivity curve, or the hardware calibration.
I assume its someting like the TR products have to “car vs flight”. If I check the FAQ of these product, the key is seemingly a setting called “having center” which needs disabled.
The FAQ mentioned also the other hint I can give:
- reset the calibration in windows own calibration tool
Thanks for advice. Still have issue. Strange thing is they work perfect in X-Plane…Rudders work in MSFS also, just toe brake in MSFS only, giving me issue
to be sure:
the issue is that the brakes starts at 50% ( so with a reverse axis part ) , or what exactly does not work fine ?
The toe brakes will not move at all…it appears to me. The sliders are not correct? Tried both rev checked and not checked. It is calibrated in Windows Device Config
Thank you everyone!
the issue in my case was “THAT I calibrated it in windows calibration tool”. I fixed it with Reseting the calibration and not recalibrate in windows. But in my case the sliders are moving, they just started “at half”. And also not forget the tool from the manufactor itself, you can also see it in video which @Neo4316 have linked.
I will try that
Update. After all this …I think I have figured it out? My crosswinds lost its config in MFG software. Reset MFG config…thanks everyone for the time!
