BravoAirspace 787-8 coming soon?

I have it on X (bought it yesterday). And performance is better than the default 787. Even with the cabin.

Thank you both. Tomorrow Iā€™m going to buy her. Iā€™m confident it will all work well. Especially when you say performance is better then the default 787-10šŸ‘

Just be aware that I did a flight to low demanding airports  sorry I didnt mention that.

SKBO from V-Pilot Design ā†’ SEGU (default).

I love this plane both on the Xbox and on my Pc . They did a fantastic job and Iā€™m sure on the upcoming updates it will be even more phenomenal. I love the interior as well as the sounds . Just get rid of the dirty wondows and good to go . Very nice on the for as well on both platforms.

Did a flight this morning. And the sounds ā€œsoundedā€ much better than in my first flight so that was good.

I wonder if the different engine types have different sound packages, I have nor been able to test it yet.

Just on another compressed flight from EGKK->MDPC and my fuel burn seems high. Looks like I will only have 7400lbs of fuel left instead of the predicted 12400lbs. I think it was the same on my previous flight too.

Are you sure yu are hsing the same unit (kg or lbs) in your simbrief flight plan and the aircraft?

Saw someone using KG in Simbrief FP and attempting to put the same values in the FMC that it was in LBS

Yes, definittely. Using LBS in both simbrief and aircraft. I rarely use KG. Maybe it was the lack of stepped climb. I could have gone to FL410 but stuck at FL380 instead.

I read somewhere in the BA web page that your units in the sim needs to be set on Hybrid, not sure if that could have anything to do.

On the only two flights I have done so far the fuel was ok. Always arrived with more fuel than what Simbrief estimated I believe. Will re-check next time.

Iā€™m Using TUI version with GE engines. I did read on their FAQ something about needing sim units set to hybrid. Which I think from memory mine are. Just coming into land now with a low fuel warning.

Can it only be purchased via the marketplace?

And does PC version have simbrief integration?

I think only trough the MP. Simbrief integration is not working right now but BA mentioned that should be fixed in the next update probably this week.

Shoukd be the same for PC/XBOX

As far as I know yes MP only, simbrief due by next update which has already been submitted to M/S apparently so maybe well even see it this week.
On PC, Iā€™ve been importing simbrief to word map which adds ATC and waypoints in FMC, then all I have to do is put in perf data manually (not that hard), so itā€™s not that bad as it stands on PC. XBox doesnā€™t have the simbrief ā†’ world map option though.

Hello,

I also have massive black screens by plane. Sometimes it works if I start directly from the runway. Sometimes all displays go out and then on and off again, etc. Of course, the entire flight schedule is gone and everything I have programmed.

Xbox series x

XBox? X / S? PC?

I note from their website, hopefully update 1 doesnā€™t just remove the cabin for you. Although they say series S which would make more sense with itā€™s limited RAM-

Issues that some XBOX users have emailed us about.

If entering the flight plan crashes the systems:

SU15 was installed, so you must delete your cache. Also, establish 0 or 32 GB of cache.

XBOX S users have constant black screens:

We will make an optimized version for those suffering from this. This will be included in update 1.

How is this taking Advantage? It is more like giving the XBOX community the Chance to have an 787-8 for a reasonable price.

No matter what Devs do, there will always be XBOX users that will complain and pull the victim card.

If you dont bring something to the XBOX - you get hated, and if you bring something to XBOX - you also get hated.

Some more recent reports seem to be a bit more favorable to this 787-8, with the potential for updates to bring it closer to the released WT versions, so that is encouraging.

My comment about ā€œtaking advantageā€ was specifically about instances where XBox users must accept whatever they get in the Marketplace, and sometimes those things fall short of what we PC users have grown accustomed to.

Yeah, in my many years here on this forum, Xbox and their users seem to be faced with a lot of Kobayashi Maru scenarios.

Itā€™s a valid and true argument. I just finished a flight and it seems to have been modeled using an early version of the WT 787 when AAU2 was initially released:

  • Simbrief was not integrated if I am not mistaken,

  • Every-time the throttles go to idle there is this annoying aural warning (the same that you get when the checklist is incomplete but no message is displayed),

  • Even if you are at full flaps and set up correctly your approach page in the fmc there is a too low flaps message.

  • None of the automatic items in the checklists auto-completes.

It took a while to be released but I believe it was rushed!

Hopefully all this will be fixed.

Thanks for the answer, maybe I didnt understand your comment the way you ment it (i am not a native english speaker). I think that it was just obvious from the day XBOX release was announced, that it will never be the same as on PC. Even if they finally (hopefully at all) get a freeware section in the MP, addons will always make more problems on the XBOX.
You might get a really good aircraft and maybe a superb airport to run on XBOX, and both work without problems on their own. As soon as you try to use both on the same time, you just might get to Memory Limits. That is at the moment one of the biggest problems as far as I can judge it, with all the black screens. And it will not change, imo.
