Bredok3D Airbus A380 released

Yeah, just like that.

Nothing wrong with the sim on Xbox. It’s identical to the PC version, save for some aesthetic differences.

I always laugh at these types of comments because it’s from people who have never tried it on Xbox and usually in a thread that has nothing to do with the Xbox vs PC conversation.

Also planes like this have nothing to do with the conversation since they are available for both and the word is any work on a future study level A380 will be available for both platforms.

But some people here don’t like sharing and expanding the love of aviation with others and it shows.

The PMDG 737, for example, functions EXACTLY the same on both platforms. There isn’t even a noticeable difference in texture quality. The vanilla sim, in fact, functions EXACTLY the same on both platforms. And having switched to a very high-end PC from Xbox SX just four weeks ago, I do consider myself in a prime position to judge.

Those who’ve not had experience with the sim on both platforms really are in no position to comment on the Xbox. That little machine, pound-for-pound, handles the sim better than any PC.

But as you say, none of this has anything to do with the Bredok A380. Any excuse to bash the Xbox, though, eh…?

Let the people buy what they want. The A380 won’t come soon for Xbox users so let them buy what they can. After all it’s their money!

Bottom line, is it your cash or is it theirs?

Tested it and there is some good and some bad. It is a good hold over until the Flybywire official release.

Compared to other freeware A380’s out there, it is better. It is easy to fly, stable in flight, actually climbs to altitudes set correctly. Lands easily in most cases.

AI landing test: while the Ai landed fine in heathrow at first - it will suddenly go off runway a few seconds later. However this is a Slight sim issue that happens with other plans as well. It landed fine and taxi fine at KLAX L eft arrival runway.

No Sim brief or laptop: so you can’t import flight plans like the A330 and others. You will ahve to set it at the start of game , or manually enter it into the planes Plan.

No internal design, only cockpit. However cabin wing and mid cameras work.

Some camera glitches.

Flies better than the 737 Max mess (even tho patch fix did fix major issues).

Wind actually pushed me off run way on a forced heavy wind - real setting. but its not that heavy.

It is ok for base flying and play, however it simply is not a Flybywire masterpiece. We will have to hold on a bit longer for that.

price should be more around 14.99 max for bradok planes.

I fly on a RTX 4090 top line card and switched from series x.

The Series x performs very well except you won’t have FSTL and actual skins. It simply needs more memory system wide and anything under a RTX4070 Ti isn’t really suffciient for both live Ai traffic and skins injected at decent frame stability { and frame gen simply is too bugged at the moment).

The series X indeed does perform amazingly stable, it simply lacks ability to use things like FSTL and actual airline skins on regular AI planes. That requires a very good GPU.

However for 499.99 you get a system that gives a well looking experience minus higher skin eye candy (can use skins on own planes - it will display multiplayer peoples if you ahve same livery pack as them) . A person will be spending at least $1500 for a better custom built PC to handle the higher levels and details. Closer to 2500 if they want to go speced out. Considering how well the optimized the series x version on a $500 machine is amazing.

There are actually a few study level aircraft for the marketplace and microsoft flightsim. No the A380 isn’t one of them.

Even other products work within limitations and hopefully that will be addressed in FS 2024, however from early testing, FS 2024 is HEAVILY made around careers and tasks.

All other current a380s out for pc suck, this one is actually better.

Only the Flybywire A380 will be for die hards, and hopefully it will be out within a couple months.

The core Game on series X is exactly the same as PC. Main engine has no differences. Newer plans with simbrief gives them a better expereince. When makers take the time to do it. THe main hold back is third party addons that run outside the game like FSFTL and the AI FTL’s. THe other thing is AI planes can’t have real liveries due to that, you only see liveries on multiplayer planes on series x. Yet the rest performs and looks very good for a 499.99 machine that doesn’t have some sync issue like the pc counterpart (as in not optimized).

Not quite. I used to see liveries from the packs I owned on the AI 320s but they didn’t appear with any consistency.

At the gates/hangars they are there. None in the air though. That was supposed to work when Simple Traffic came out, but that never worked correctly on Xbox so it got scrapped for console.

It can’t even fly long haul. It burns 50,000 pound an hour. More than double of what the 747 burns. Since the fields are encrypted you can’t even fix it. Break needs to fix the fuel burn asap or the plane is useless.

he wont even respond to email. How careless this Dev is, make you some custom views outside the cockpit and u will see the plane is a WHITE MODEL, not even one texture, he forgot them…yeah wish I could refund my kid only flys it or I would delete it ..

I wish there were more ways to warn people about the creators work other than the terrible review scores. I bought a few liveries early on for cheap, but found out quickly there are so many better creators of even basic add-ons.

E for effort, but not my preference to purchase. At least they mention that it’s not study and strictly for fun.

I got scammed on his 737 MAX. No futher updates, stayed garbage… Ill wait for Fly By Wires..

Does anyone have any experience on the fuel tanks, pumps and crossfeeds?

I keep flaming out on engine 1 and 4 when the outer tanks run dry regardless of whether the overdrice pumps are on for the main tanks and cross feeds open which i assume like in the stock 747 shoukd feed all engines?

Hey, is anyone else having trouble with this a380 that when you use “travel to” there is no sound on landing?
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Do you only loose sound at landing?

Last I checked, I loose sound effects (primarily engine sound) with any airplane after using the “travel to” function.
Believe it’s an older bug in the sim.

Or is your issue specific to only this plane and at landing only?

Hi, thanks for the reply, it’s only with the a380 by bredok3d, my other Aircraft are fine on the" travel to" feature, from memory I still have engine noise at cruising altitude but not finals and I don’t think approach either😭

Thanks

I’ll try to remember to test it next time in msfs2020. Almost only doing 2024 since it’s alot more stable for me. And since the A380 works there too
