Ever since the last update, version 1.23.12.0, I noticed that the brightness and/or contrast on screenshots are too high, I never had that issue before, I think it started with the last update. I’ll include screenshots and photos I’ve taken with my cell phone.
Here are two actual screenshots, this happens with all aircraft.
Here are photos taken with my cell phone. That’s a light reflection in both images, not a UFO.
The problem is not apparent in X-Plane 11 so that rules out a problem with any of the components in my system.
Any ideas?
You’re probably using HDR.
Need to take pictures with an appropriate application (e.g. windows Game Bar) which either does a tone mapping or provides you raw data that you can edit yourself.

Agreed, that looks like a non-HDR-capable screenshot program grabbing an HDR screen surface.
I use the Nvidia overlay (GeForce whatever) which saves to HDR .jxr images, then convert those to SDR .jpg files for posting using a program of my own devise:

Yes I am using HDR and I’ve always used the Print-Scr button on the keyboard to take screenshots and I’ve never had that issue. I’ll look at using the Windows Game Bar.
