Can we please have back the 2D control panels for MSFS2024?
These can be brought up in any view and can control anything from auto pilot to the overhead panel to engine controls to any kind of special features a plane might have like opening doors to smoke to animated figures etc.
You can use them to more easily control the airplane from any view or make it easier to find controls in complicated aircraft (you can look forward in the pilots seat and quickly bring up the flight engineer 2D panel to make adjustments in a complicated prop airliner or old jet for example), or we could use it to control special mission functions for aircraft like the C208 to drop sky divers for example.
You could also have a 2D panel and drag it to a second monitor so you can fly the plane on one screen while make changes for your autopilot in another screen out of view. The same could be done to more easily navigate a GPS or FMC.
I missed these panels in older versions of flight simulator. Not sure how anybody else feels about them.
