Don’t get your hopes up, or you’ll be disappointed. What you can hear from the South West of France does not promise good things for Bush Trips.

Bush trips are what I enjoy most in MSFS. I go back to 2020 so I can fly them. Was really looking forward to them in 2024 and very disappointed when they weren’t there. YES - Please revive them!

Yes please. Bush trips are a core of aviation since the barnstorming days. It’s as important as jet travel.

New to MSFS, but I would like to fly into some New Guinea remote highland airstrips. The scenery and the skill required for short take off and landing on rough jungle highland fields would be fantastic..

In MyLibrary? I just went into MyLibrary and all of mine are disabled with no ability to set them to stream.
Are they actually working? Is the Nav Log in the EFB being populated? If you have one of the narrated ones, is the narration triggering when you reach the waypoint?
If you load a bush trip into the Community folder, they show up under Custom Content. However, they don’t work right. At least that was how it was. If they are working for you, then something whas done.
Yes, i flew the the First leg of rhine River from Nordheim Missions before a few minutes
Also I‘ve activated Discovery flights Alaska, Greece Islands, Explorer Germany, East coast 2 ….
My other bushtrips are still deactivate, but im sure it‘s going on

I Play on the Xbox x, i don‘t know how to install anything in a Community folder on Xbox, in the Efb the flightplan is available,in the rhine River you get spoken tips

Interesting. I am still on the Beta build. The Beta build and release are supposed to be identical, but maybe they slipped in bush trips into the release build.
I guess I will see them then with the first SU2 beta build.
I was also on the beta so far, but did the update to su1 right away.
Perfect on the Xbox. Since I only do ga and discovery or bush flights, I can report a real surprise (absolute improvement) for the small slow flights. Optical, fluid flying… Everything better. On a big TV in 4K - Top!
San Francisco WHOW, New York Better but still jerky and tattered photogrammetry.
If the su2 puts one more on top of it in the same measure…

Su 2 will have other bug fixes, but it will be also addressing VR. I don’t consider myself a VR user, but I do fly bush trips in VR most the time.
I am going to guess when WU Brazil comes out then, there will be another small release which will put Bush Trips back into the Activities menu, and we will once again have access to all the bush trips from all the prior World Updates. Anything else needed for the Marketplace will probably be also in that release.

In the Alaska discovery flight, the message appears in the take-off image that the aircraft is not available. Greek islands also work.
I have added 4 wishlist items:
Put Bush Trips in the Activity menu of 2024 and provide World Update trips
Put the Totals for leg count and total time in the bush trip screen in 2024
Put the starting and ending locations in the bush trip screen in 2024
Add the ability to see info on legs past the current leg in 2024
And if you are wondering why I put in 4, I feel you have to make them bite sized requests. Plenty of times I have seen a wishlist item with multiple things being requested, one gets done, and the whole wish list gets closed.

Hello everyone,
As the developer of BushTripInjector, author of the Adventure Rhine River and owner of Nordheim Missions, I can contribute the following: Tests are currently underway for the development studios to verify the marketplace, its content, and the streaming of that content. I suspect that something went wrong at this point and the package was accidentally activated for all existing customers and can therefore be activated by the user.
I am currently not aware of any changes, improvements or bug fixes to the current Bushtrip engine. I.e. there is still no navlog with descriptions and pictures (the biggest lack - this is what makes most trips interesting), date, time and season cannot be set, the fuel pump has a strange behavior at the start of a leg, the flight plans are not displayed correctly in the WT-GPS devices, refueling is not possible, activating/deactivating scenery objects does not work and much more. I am also not aware of any plans to fix any issue, except for the above post by Jayne from November 2024.

All apologies. MS or Asobo renamed the internal names of the aircraft and/or livery in MSFS2024. Therefore the 2020 plane definition cannot be found and MSFS2024 tells you, the aircraft is missing.
We will update all out packages for 2024, when some more engine-issues with bush trips are fixed by Asobo.

Thanks for the update. So it sounds like we aren’t any further along than Microsoft allowed finally a few packages in the Marketplace.
Thanks for your info. Too bad, I was actually hoping we were already further. To the note with the wrong flight plan: the flight plan was not available to me between departure and first WP, after that it continued correctly.
Excuse my overly optimistic interpretation, but you can see that it is at least in preparation.
