Thanks for your reply so I take it that the bridges were not in the update is that right? If not I’ll visit flightsim thanks for the info.

Is the Clifton Suspension bridge in World update 3 or the Flightsim.to version?

It didnt look like that when i flew over it earlier… i think

Yes it is and it`s bad…looking for a solution to remove it. Cannot locate the files…any ideas welcome ! I have the bamboodeer version from flightsim.to which is way better but unfortunately cannot used it as it superimpose on the Asobo one.

Fellow Brizzle lad here. I use UK2000 EGGD so no airport issues. Disappointed with the new Bristol scenery TBH, the suspension bridge is not great, so I may try putting the addon back. Also, still using the Severn bridges addon. I am tempted to put Mark Taylor’s Bristol City scenery back on - at least it goes out as far as Ashton Gate which is more than ASOBO have done. TBH the building models are not so great and only a small part of the city has ben covered.

I would say that the roads look a lot better in the update, though there is a glitch in the M32 near to IKEA and the Avonmouth bridge has been cut off at the end. The whole job does look as if it has been completed in a rush and in a very haphazard and casual manner - when you compare it to Southampton, Southampton is a lot better.

Yep, definitely some hazardous driving conditions on the M32

…pls let me know if you find a way to remove the Asobo suspension bridge.

…pathetic really ! where is quality control ?

hmmm… I dont want to write yet another “I’m disapointed” post, but… I’m disapointed. Perhaps I don’t really know what I expected, though…

I’m a strong supporter of Asobo and this project, you’ll see me defend them often.

But I’d be a liar if I didn’t say that bug fixes and the top requested features that directly affect flying are what I really want to see fixed next.

I know one team of peeps will have been working so hard on this world update, and much of it is awesome. but the other team of peeps that are surely working SUPER hard on bug fixes and features really have their work cut out for Sim Update 3…

I really hope that lots of stuff is fixed and the core flying experience can be really smoothed out, that should win a lot of hearts and minds and might make us more forgiving towards the world swing-and-misses…

Don’t want to start another thread on a talked-to-death topic, but… have you guys tried landing the TBM on a short runway today? Pretty hard now with the ground effect tweaked! :joy:

Anwyay I started this thread to be positive and look at me now!!

Its a pity that the chap who does the flightsim.com version of Bristol cannot find a way to get rid of all the ugly tall trees, perhaps using blender to get rid of all the polys that form them. I would be happy if he did because I could then produce an accompanying add-on that puts flightsim quality trees within his scenery and I think that would look really good. Buildings being a bit wonky I can live with, those horrible trees that look like they belong in a child’s picture I cannot live with.
