The posts above led me to try and figure out what the Trislanderās maneuver speed is. I havenāt found anything yet, but I did find this in the BN-2 Islander
Iām no aeronautical engineer, but seeing as the aircraft are similar I would guess itās around that same 107kts or so.
Iām still trying to figure out how to calculate the proper v1 / rotate speeds based on weight for the Trislander. Will let you all know if I figure it out!
(edit) While weāre talking about speeds, Iāve been trying to figure out how to calculate v1 / rotate speeds for the Trislander. Section 6, figures 6.3 / 6.3a has some adjustments, but Iām having a hard time figuring out: For x weight at y altitude and temperature, use flaps z and speeds aaā¦
Anyone got any hints on that?
Apologies if this has been answered. This looks great, a very unique looking aircraft (ugly, as some have said haha).
Are there any plans to bring this to the humble Xbox? I own the Islander and thatās a great bird to fly.
I do believe that is the plan. It can take a while though depending on how fast the Xbox folks do their QA and stuff.
I was supposed to be on the 3pm slot, but got there early and managed to jump onto the 1pm tour instead. Did you get to go on the AA Islander, or did you just do the hangar tour?
What is this tour? Do you get to go up in an islander?
Unfortunately only something like a once-a-year affair, I think. Check out the BN Facebook page for info. Iād love to time my next trip from Australia to visit my sister in the Isle of Wight so it coincides with the next factory open day, but probably a long shot.
Meanwhile Iām still waiting and hoping for a decent Lee-on-Solent airport add-on⦠there is one on flightsim.to but it doesnāt look that great and is over a year old now I think.
Ah nice, I was on the 3pm. Didnāt do Air Alderney, unfortunately, but very nice to see them at the event. Good publicity for them so hopefully things all go well regarding their operations to and from the island.
UPDATE ! ! !

4- Fixed small KONDAIR cargo livery error
Lotās of dedication there at Blackbox!!! Excellent products and even better customer service! We appreciate it!
Avionics conflict is resolved, thank you.
But autopilot conflict is still there. On Cessna 310 with Trislander installed i cant set target altitude to autopilot.
Yes, I know you are all going to berate me for not reading this or thaat, but a quick Q anyway. How does one select the Aspen avionics fit? I simply see the Trislander in āotherā on selection and have as yet to discover a livery with the required fit. I am not senile. Yetā¦
Hit the Aspen icon on the panel when inside the plane.
How easy would it be to get a modified paint kit for the shortnose variants? I can kinda make the adjustment in my head with the current paintkit but it would make it a lot easier to have one specifically for shortnose liveries. Thanks!
Cheers Niff, I will look at that tomorrow, when I next get the chance.
That looks better than real life hahaha
IN the ātutorialā Document the ASPEN switch is clearly explained
Simply toggle the ASPEN KIT On and Off by clicking the ASPEN Sticker
No Berating intended but seriously, and especially with a Study Level Aircraft, it does pay you read supplied documents
[EDIT]
Trislander Paintkit now contains 3 colour Spinners for Aurigny (3 blade) models only
And also now Long nose Shortnose Guides
With the greatest of respect ā¦
perhaps the 310 is causing the conflict when the Trislander is installed ?
What exact issues are you finding?
C310 is using default KAP140 autopilot, but with Trislander installed it start using your custom KAP140 which is not compatible with Honeycomb Bravo. Without Trislander, C310 works fine with Honeycomb Bravo.
