The second photo is not offline.
It hasn’t default textures.
I am just east of LGIR and there are problems here as mentioned.
The second screenshot was taken after going to the main menu and turning off online, saving and returning to the simulator. Incorrect elevation data had gone. Textures appear identical in both screenshots. Going back to the main menu and turning online back on immediately showed the incorrect elevation data again. Presumably the data for the offline screenshot was pulled from the cache on my pc, but there is clearly a fault coming from online. Maybe the elevation data stored on the pc is correct but online is somehow overriding it with the incorrect data? There is though a serious problem which needs to be fixed.
i have checked this too in Corsica and Coastline of Split and other spots. Whatever is wrong in a lot lot places worldwide. It seems Asobo is not interested in this major bug, but interested in uniteresting stuff.
The sim is parked at the garage. i will not give one penny for a broken and unfinished sim.
Antarctica gets an update while many southern European areas are broken. Croatia is especially bad right now.
Look at this complete and utter devastation of the Croatian coastline south of Split.
It’s completely unplayable and I’m not using the sim any more, untill this gets fixed. There’s no point.. 
When I go offline, the situation is a little better, but it’s still broken. So it’s definitely something with Bing live data.
Crete is also affected by this issue. Coastline of Crete looks horrible.
I can’t believe this is still not officially logged as a bug.
Please, Asobo, do something. This completely breaks the game.

Mykonos,Paros,Naxos,Samos,Ikaria,Fournoi, there are all fixed.
Creta has problem.
Unfortunately Split is still messed up.
From the following images you can clearly see that there is a serious mismatch between old and new Bing imagery. Not just in color shades, but in elevation data too. The mismatch boundary stretches all the way from the Croatian coastline deep into Bosnia.
