Brunner Force Feedback Yoke and Rudder Pedals

I am looking for Brunner equipment owner here. I use the CLS-E NG YOKE & CLS-E MK II RUDDER WITH TOE BRAKES from Brunner, and I find that the software needed to operate these (CLS2SIM) has a big impact on FPS. I am curious to hear from other Brunner equipment owners about their experience.

I have the yoke and rudder and haven’t noticed any FPS drops from the software. Had the yoke for about a year and recently added the rudder with no issues. I do have a weird bug where the toe brakes stick in the software Im trying to figure out. Brakes work fine in XP just not in MSFS, takes about 4 full seconds for them to release.

Hey did you ever get that figured out!?

Nope - the stance from Brunner support is its a MSFS bug. Honestly I’ve just gone back to my TM TPRs at this point. Every now and then I have some weird issues with the CLS2Sim software on top of that, I just don’t have the patience to deal with anymore.

Bummer, sorry to hear that. I guess im glad I didn’t pull the trigger on the brunner rudder pedals…

Sorry for the super late respone. But yea for the cost and depending what you fly, Id just recommend winwings pedals or something else at this point. For GA flying, FFB is fantastic, anything airliners or bizjets its really not worth the added cost to me. I recently switched back to them over the TPRs mainly because the brake action feels just better. I just bind the brakes directly in the sim and they seem to work fine. My main issue is troubleshooting an apparent FPS hit when using the CLS2sim. Im anywhere between a 2-3 fps average just having the software running. The hardware and support are top notch, the software is my main gripe. I’ve had a few issues with my yoke over the years and support was responsive and sent any parts needed within just a few days (im in the states / NY).
