Bryce Canyon National Park

So, here we are, shortly after takeoff from Bryce Canyon (KBCE), which is conveniently right by the Park entrance:

The DEM for the park is pretty good, though anyone who has visited the park - or seen photographs - will immediately notice the colors are too brown-yellow, rather than red-orange:

We can follow the rim…:

…to a convenient parking area:

Where we land & hike down from the trailhead. The trail is pretty easy to follow:

Back at the rim, one can walk along the Rim Trail & admire the sweeping vistas:

Before heading back to the parking lot, and flying back to KBCE:

I’m not advocating this, but what happens if you walk off the edge?

You just slide down the slope. :slightly_smiling_face:

Monument valley, Grand Canyon, etc. are all brown. How do you get red into the sim?

I think it would have to be a custom change to the Bing Photogrammetry made by the team that takes the Bing aerials and processes them for MSFS.
