'autopilot not turn on" sounds like avionics are off.
“autopilot not turn on not working” see above.
Every mission i got has a flight plan on the garmin for it. No problems here.
we’re going to need a lot more info.

Autopilot works in several planes but I have to monitor because it will stop controlling sometimes. Suddenly a plane will fall off the track and may dive to the ground. I have to re-engage the AP and it seems to come back OK. This has happened in the 172, the G36 and G58 both in HDG and NAV modes.

Update: AP seems better. No dropouts lately. Sim updated a coupld of days ago I think/

Same here, all other buttons work, just not AP! When I restart it works for a little, then back to same issue. works fine in free flight though.

Went ahead and finally got the JetAirliner License, wanted to do a career Mission in the 737 then.
Everything went ok, taxing, takeoff, AP On,climbing to cruise alt. Then i wanted to skip to the next stage of the mission so i did that. After the little loading time my 737 was doing only 80 knots falling down the sky like a rock. AP was still on but LNAV wasnt turned on anymore and the alltitude was also incorrect.

I dont know what the actual problem is with this but on a 2nd try the same thing occured. How the hell is this able to happen? was Boeing doing the Q&A for msfs 24?

I have the opposite problem. I’ve been doing the earlier missions in the 172, ferry flights, flightseeing etc, and every time I call atc when prompted, or the phase of flight changes i.e. going onto the runway, or turning onto final, the autopilot turns itself on for no reason. I’ve almost crashed a couple of times as the autopilot came on without me noticing and I couldn’t control the airplane. This happens despite the fact that I haven’t set an altitude or pressed any of the buttons associated with operating or setting the autopilot. I’ve learned now when to anticipate it, but it’s still annoying.

Hi Luis, did last nights sim update fix the 172 autopilot issue.
if not try some of thease steps

  1. on the pfd press the CDI until it changes to pink then try going to one of your waypoints or in fact you can just go direct to the airport

  2. does the hdg bug work when you move the hdg bug on the pfd then press hdg key on the autopilot

    also when you move the hdg bug a blue issue line will show up on you mfd when moving it

I am having issues with almost every aircraft except the 172. The 172 autopilot seems to work fine. The Pilatus, Cessna Caravan, Beechcraft, etc all give me issues. I have tested them outside of career mode and they seem to work fine.

Inside of career mode, the autopilot flashes red and will not connect. Very frustrating. Almost impossible to complete the cargo missions with this bug.

I noticed the same on the PC-24, since in career mode the engines wont start, unless you skip to taxi. After skipping to taxi, the autopilot will not work anymore.

Interesting, I’m sure they will resolve it when able. Hopefully within the coming weeks!
